I'm gonna say right off that I'm getting too old to read books.
But that doesn't stop me from buying them.
In the last year I've bought four or five new books.
Never read 'em.
Rather I use them to define myself. Now before you go thinking
that I mean to impress people with the books I buy - that is not the case.
Because no one comes to my house and even if they do they never go
where I keep my books. : ]
But seriously folks - I bought two new books
just the other day and I'd like to recommed them.
~Don't Quit Your Day Job - Acclaimed Authors and the Day
Jobs They Quit - Edited by Sonny Brewer
Actually I've never heard of any of the 'acclaimed authors'
but that doesn't mean anything. Wait a minute - John Grisham
is on the list and I read one of his books twice in a row I liked
it so much.
There are 23 stories about the Day Jobs People Quit - I'm sure I
will check some of them out - sometime.
~Shatner Rules or Your Guide to Understanding the
Shatnerverse and the World AT Large (with Chris Regan)
Now I really like William Shatner - not because he was Captain
Kirk - I like him now.
but I really think someone else has the market on 'rules'
:o)
