candles are people too

Things are different now  - aren't they?

Life used to be so simple.

Take buying candles - for instance.  In the old days : ] you just went
to the store and bought a candle.

No more.

Today I bought two candles and they each had two names.

A first name and a last name.

When I got them home I sat and pondered over the two pretty candles
and what their names meant to me.

And believe me folks - these two candles and their two names were enough
to give me a post to write.

One candle is named Autumn Twilight and the other Midnight Jasmine.

Let's take a closer look at their names:

~both Twilight and Midnight are times of day

~Autumn - however - is a time of the year

~both of these names of the candles are very poetic and pretty

~both Autumn and Jasmine could be women's names - pretty ones

~Autumn is a color in that it brings to mind the colors of fall

~Jasmine is a rather pale color - sometimes described as pale yellow or even white.
But the funny thing is that while the colors of my Autumn Twilight candle are
reminiscent of fall - the Midnight Jasmine candle is blue.  And that
is what blows my mind here folks.

Oh I love both of my new candles - but why does the blue candle bear the name
Midnight Jasmine?

I guess I'll never know...

and didja know folks that you are supposed to let a new candle burn
at least for a few minutes so that it does not look just like you are
using it for decoration

But you already knew that - didn't you?
