stidh's recipe for fresh green beans/mushrooms

~choose fresh green beans that have no brown on them

~choose fresh button-type mushroom (I like big ones)

~cut off ends of green beans/cut in half/wash and drain

~wipe clean mushrooms with damp paper towel/cut in chunks


Meanwhile heat skillet on high/add some olive oil (not a lot
you can always a little more.

Add beans and mushrooms/season w/ oregano.

Cook/stir it up occasionally on high/med high until at least half of beans are dark brown
and mushrooms are cooked throughout.

Add red cooking *wine until alcohol content is evaporated.

*You people who like the Real thing can use it (you know who you are).
