the last samurai

I may be repeating myself about this movie - but I'm
going to write about it anyway - because I like it -
and writing on my Blog helps me to keep going. : ]

Not all that long ago I wrote something on my Blog
about Tom Cruise.  Well I'm gonna say right now that
I don't think great acting is what Tom Cruise movies
are all about.

I like Tom Cruise because I like the content of his movies.



And I like The Last Samurai.

~it's about getting rid of your demons

~it's a good movie

~I like the hard to watch part when Tom keeps
getting knocked down and nearly beaten to
death - but he just keeps trying to get up

~I like Ken Watanabe

~I like the Japanese Emperor - who just knows what it
means for a Man to Die a Valiant Death

~the scenery is great

~you learn a lot about the Japanese people - like how they
acted in the face of the Earthquake






but what I like the most is that Tom Cruise goes back to
spend the rest of his life with the woman he loves
