Who can Tax the Sunrise?
Who can Tax the Trees?
Ever watch this really cool little video with singing and dancing
by Tim Hawkins?
I've watched it about four times.
Because it is set to the tune of The Candyman - and besides that Tim
Hawkins works very hard in it to get his message across.
And after the third time I watched it - mostly because I like things like
that - I couldn't stop thinking this:
Gee - maybe some people - ok maybe most people - don't want the Government
in their face so much.
But that's not what this post is all about folks.
~~~
This post is about:
What are we gonna do about it anyway?
And I don't have the answer.
But I do believe there is one.
And I really believe that - as Bloggers - we can come up
with a solution to the problem of Big Government.
Now here's the thing.
If Mitt Romney wins the Presidency in 2012 - and this is America folks -
a place where if Barack Obama can be President then anything can happen
(I'm pretty sure those aren't his exact words but I really don't think he reads
my Blog : ] ) - then as a Repbublican President - and let me remind you
that Republicans don't like Big Government - he should be taking care of
that in no time.
But if President Obama is reelected - and as an American Liberal and a
Good Democrat I'm gonna vote for him - then I think we Bloggers ought
to get together and chose a couple of representatives from each side and talk
to Our President.
Now I've heard that President Obama is a really nice guy - some say too nice
and that that is his problem - and well if we are real nice to him he might
even invite a few of us Bloggers over to the White House for a Bloggers
Beer Summit.
But then I've got a very vivid imagination.
Still - they don't call me sue the impossible dream hanes for nothing.
and anyway what can it hurt?
Have you ever been to the White House? I was there once as a Tourist -
but I wouldn't want to live there - heard it's haunted.
