Yes Thersiste - I think everybody knows that by now - that the Academy Awards are 'heavily influenced' by the Left.
But I have been a follower of that program - although I feel myself drawing away from them if they don't clean up their act - and I believe that they do get it right at times.
A couple of examples are:
Good Will Hunting - best screenplay and supporting actor
