I like Alec Baldwin.
Now I would not be surprised to hear that some people don't.
Maybe they even think he is a smart *ass Liberal Celebrity.
Maybe he is.
But I don't think he is.
He seems to me to be a really nice guy.
Smart.
A really good actor - The Edge is one of my all time faves.
I had read on the internet on Saturday that he got kicked off of American
Airlines for refusing to turn off his video puzzle game. I didn't even read
the article - cause I just smiled and thought That's Alec.
Then I turned off Saturday Night Live when I got tired at midnight.
I missed his spontaneous but brilliant spot where he pretended to be the
AA pilot apologizing to himself. But I caught it on the internet on Sunday.
Yeah - I like Alec Baldwin.

No I don't defend what Alec Baldwin did on the airplane.
But then I don't have to.
He got kicked off the airplane - and what he did confirmed what people who already don't like him knew about him all along.
For me - and I am not personally involoved in this situation - it just confirmed that Alec Baldwin was just being himself. He didn't cause the plane to crash - did he? -although it inconvenienced people.
But I believe that Alec Baldwin - in doing what he did - gave those people who were inconvenienced something to b*tch about - and really - there's a lot of that going on right now - don't you think?
And furthermore - I've heard others question the rule about shutting off electronic games.
I hope - brenalexa - that you will comment again here.

I really knew nothing about Stephen Baldwin until last year when I rented a movie by the name of Midnight Clear (not to be confused with the Ethan Hawke WW 2
movie A Midnight Clear) - and this was a really nice little Christmas movie in which Stephen Baldwin starred - and a few other good people too.
But that's all I know about him.
