New Year's Eve Blogger Bash at STIDH's House

Now you can take this as a joke - or you can show up at my house
at 6 pm on NYE (see my post telling Henri the Squirrel how to get
here.)


The NYE Blogger Bash will only last until 1 am ET cause if I don't
get to bed by shortly after that I can't do my housewife job the next
day.

WHO  IS  INVITED?


~any blogger that has ever read or commented on my Blog

~LIBERALS

~CONSERVATIVES - who must check their handguns at the door

~bring a guest

~BYOB

~BYOC (caffeine)

~vegetarian snacks will be provided - we can order out other stuff if you
are willing to pay for it

~VIETNAM VETERANS are welcome.  My husband is a Vietnam Veteran
and will be gone to an IU Cupcake bb game for a couple of hours but when
he gets back I know he would love to trade war stories with other VV.

~Bill Maher will not be here as he is doing standup comedy in Hawaii so
no one has to worry about that (we can hit on him all night - get out all those
pent up feelings about him and how he has let us down and insulted us - and
furthermore that he is not an athiest)

WHAT WILL WE DO?

~I have a black glossy grand piano (sorry folks it's a Baldwin :()
but anyone is welcome to play anything on it after I try to play Fur
Elise by heart and kill Libestraume

~If you bring a small canvas you can use my paints and brushes etc
and can do a small painting which we can dry with fans before you leave

~We can run movies (I have a large assortment of those) all evening on the
kitchen flat screen and the big one in the basement

~Sports if they are on can be watched on the basement tv

~Fire pit on the back patio where people can talk and smoke or just
relax (not me I'm an inside girl)

~Political Discussions (with civility) can take place in my Study

~Ping Pong table in the basement and let me tell you folks I'll take on
anyone cause I've been practicing

~Blogging - Want to check your blog?  Laptop in the kitchen and a PC
in the basement


Have I missed anything?

Any bloggers coming from a distance and need a place to stay - we have
a guest room w/ bathroom in basement and a couch;  a sofa bed in the
living room - so we can put up a few people.

Oh - and did I mention the domino tower which we can build and
push the first one over at midnight as we watch A. Cooper and K.
Griffin in the Big Apple.
