This post is not about a Cherished Family Christmas Memory but rather about a
Cherished Christmas Book.
That book would be A Family Christmas - the contents of which were selected and
introduced by Caroline Kennedy.
but that's not what this post is about
This post is about Caroline Kennedy - who for me is the last in line of a Cherished
American Family. And a while back when it looked as if she might step forward
and get into Politics - I kept thinking Please Caroline Kennedy - don't do it.
And I actually breathed a sigh of relief when she changed her mind.
because - well Caroline Kennedy is all we have left -
of what - you might ask....
Camelot.

You must not have known Joe Kennedy very well... when I say that Crime, Inc. was centered in the DNC, I wasn't being fascetious...
Abso - Let's start with Joe Kennedy - the father - first.
I did not know Joe Kennedy at all.
I have a very low opinion of Joe Kennedy.
To me he was ruthless - a man who is repsonsible for making his slightly retarded daughter into a vegetable.
A man who virtually bought the Presidency for his son.

My post about Caroline Kennedy - and ultimately about Camelot - comes from thoughts I have held over a number of year.
It all started when Pres. Kennedy was assassinated. This made me very sad.
Next I discovered that he had turned the WH into a sort of Sexorama - I did not like this.
I have flip-flopped on Jacqueline Kennedy for years. Sometimes respecting her - other times criticizing her. When the recent taped conversations came out a while back at first I criticized her.
But now when thinking about it I say to myself - She was so young to be in the position she was.
But she gave us something we had never had before - that is intelligence, culture, beauty, grace, courage etc.
Sure all Fisrt Ladies had attributes like this - but she had them wrapped up into one package.
To conclude - I have decided that the Kennedys - and I am speaking strictly of JFK, Jackie, Caroline and John, jr. - lent us for a while a sort of magic - and few did not embrace it in a vicarious way - and that magic is what we call Camelot.
It is gone now - but with Caroline Kennedy we still have a trace of the magic -and to me she will be a cherished memory for our Country to hold on to.
Did I mention the travesty of Bobby Kennedy as the nation's chief law enforcement official? Did I mention the travesty of RFK, jr, fronting for billions in taxpayer loans to failing green energy boondoggles?
Speedy - No - I don't believe you ever did.
Have I ever mentioned the movie Bobby which is really a propaganda film written and directed by
Emilio Estevez to promote the memory of BK - of whom I am not a huge fan because I think he and brother Jack used Marilyn Monroe and then dumped her.
But the movie itself is good - with different segments leading up to the acutal footage of the assassination of RFK.
There is one part in particular where two young guys are duped into trying LSD and I think it is a pretty good representation of how tripping out on the most mindbending drug would be.
