I should never watch ROTPOTA in the morning. :]
I cannot Believe that this Great Movie was not even
NOMINATED.
give me a BREAK - here
Caesar IS home.
Does it get any better than this folks - this ending ranks
right up there with Far From Home: Adventures of Yellow Dog
when Yellow IS back Home.
::sigh::

I'm on it - already.
nicrap - You don't miss a thing - do ya - nicrap?
you're Sharp - nicrap.
???
I'm not proud... wtf are you talking about?
lol! Nothing. Sue had misspelled ROTPOTA (Rise of The Planet of the Apes.) If she only knew of my Vastal/vestal gaffe! :)
Oh! ...still haven't watched it... I think I got the cd for Xmas. Oh, wait, I think that the cd I received was the Secret of NIMH... ;)
nicrap - I would LOVE to hear about yer Vastal/Vestal gaffe - should you be so kind as to share -
that is.
-FJ - 'wtf'
Hey - watch yer language -
I run a Clean Blog.
Thersites - You are always so Nice and Polite - and are certainly
Welcome Here Anytime.
Oh, i had in the title of my blog written vastal(vast) in place of vestal(pure) ... and, as you can see, it completely "spoils" the rest. ;)
Thanks for sharing - nicrap.
Sorry if I don't seem very responsive today.
But I think I've reached the 'end of my rope.'
Oh - I'll be ok. It's just that I'm feeling a bit - how should I say it? - discouraged - just now.
Do take care! :)
...shall be back to dance and think for us in the morning.;)
Come on, Gogo, return the ball, can't you, once in a while?"
...or was that sing for us?
Darn it - Ther - ya almost had me with the Sunshine thing - but now I've lost the Thread.
Tell ya what - I'll Go To The Movies - I've got everything All Ready - and then we can talk about it when I get back - around 7:30 ET.
Ok?
I'm outta here.
I'll send Uncle Ernie back to guide you to your very own pinball machine... or perhaps cousin Kevin....
Gee - -FJ - I can see why ya like that Movie.
Somehow I missed it. But I'll be sure to put it on my Movies-2-c
list.
Thanks for calling my attention to it -FJ.
If you want to see it...I'd wait for the play... the movie isn't nearly as well crafted.
My son (now 27) played the ten year old Tommy in a local Baltimore region production... which perhaps explains my familiarit with the subject matter.
Oh - I don't know - -FJ.
It looks like some Real Crazy Sh*t to me - and that's the Best Kind.
Wow! -FJ - you have an actor in the family.
Good for you.
Were ya ever an actor yerself?
Darn.
I just missed a rerun of Real Time With Bill Maher - just so I could see George Clooney.
On well - maybe I'll be able to catch it again later.
Ya know - -FJ - Bill's show is sooo
good - and it just keeps Getting Better.
Ya outta catch it sometime.
Were ya ever an actor yerself?
Only on the web... ;)
About being an actor - -FJ.
Either you are an actor or you're not.
I'm so much not an actor - that I can't even tell a good joke.
I hardly can fool anyone about anything - and Really - isn't that what acting is all about?
About sayin' - hey I'm not Really this Character - I'm just fooling ya - cause I'm a Really good actor.
But acting is not like lying - which is fooling someone in the Worst Way.
Doncha think - -FJ?
I suppose it depends, stidh.
a good "rhapsode" can "channel" a character much easier than a sophist can dream up some new sophistry. I don't think of it as "lying"... I think of it as WWJD?
-FJ - I googled the hard words you used in your comment - like 'rhapsode' and 'sophist.'
WWJD?
To respond to your question -
What would Jesus do - I first am going to give a sophist answer - or how I understood the definition.
If Jesus were here - He would say,
'Excuse me Folks - while I quietly go into the Other room and blow my brains out - with a handgun I borrowed from one of my Conservative friends.'
Because Jesus must be appalled by the Mess we People have gotten into here in America.
But - -FJ - there is only one Person that I know of who Really knows What Jesus Would Do about the situation this Country -
and his name is Bill Maher.
