I've never actually seen a Woody Allen movie but today I ran by
one of his latest called Midnight in Paris (which triggered my post
on Paris : ]).
I actually didn't connect with this movie but I think I need to run it
by again and this time really watch it - because I like Kathy Bates,
Adrien Brody, Marion Cotillard, Owen Wilson and especially
Michael Sheen. And I like Paris.

But here is a movie that I like to call quirky and the name of it is
Journey to the Center of the Earth.
Not to be confused with the classic Journey to the Center of the Earth
(1959) starring James Mason and Pat Boone. Or the remake (2008)
starring Brendan Fraser.
The quirky Journey to the Center of the Earth is very loosely based on
Jules Verne's novel and is set in Hawaii- and it was directed by Rusty
Leomorande and stars Nicola Cowper and Paul Carafotes.
I've watched this movie many times and have always liked it - because it
is so 'different' and well just fun.

Athough I have made it very clear that I do not read the newspaper (see my post
about how I find the newspaper stuffy and boring and makes my arms tired holding
it up) I do - however - like the inserts in newspapers.
When I was putting down newspaper tonight so that Windex wouldn't get on the
kitchen table when I was cleaning a refrigerator glass shelf - I luckily noticed an
insert called American Profile - that I will save - because the cover story was about
the artists from Google.
I use google all the time but I especially like it when they have those things to recognize
certain people - and sometimes they are really amazing. So now I can actually see who
does that.
Thanks Goolge artists for brightening up my Life.
And finally my favorite magazine is Rolling Stone - especially when they are talking
about something I am interested in.
Last night I bought their special double issue - 2011 in Review - and was pleased to see
that on page 51 under 2011 WHAT JUST HAPPENED the first person they talk about is
Bill Maher.
So I say to you RS:
you got that right
