change

You hear a lot these days about the Constitution.

And how some people don't want to Change it.

But did you ever stop to think about how the Constitution is
actually about Change.

Yes - it is a Perfect Document - to set up the Perfect Government.

But how is the Constitution about Change?

Take a wild f*ing guess folks.

Because after the Founding Fathers wrote it - and as they were sitting back
admiring their piece of work - they go Whoops - we left a few things out.

They huddled together and decided to cover themselves and not say that they
had forgotten anything - so they called the first ten corrections:

The Bill of Rights.

That way we wouldn't know that they were changes - or mistakes.

Remember when people went around saying that there had been no
terrorist attack on George W. Bush's watch?

They even fooled me on that one.

It took the best standup comedian ever (even though he is 38th on
Comedy Central's list of best comedians - 38th?) to make me realize
the Truth of that Fallacy.

And now people are saying that we should not touch the Constitution.

That we should not Change it.

Well let me tell you something folks.

The real Beauty of Our Constitution is in its Brokenness.

Our Constitution is Perfect becuase it is Real.

It is Flexible.

It can be Changed.

We just have to be discerning - and make sure that we make the Right Changes.
