Perhaps the first thing that needs to be done is to ask Roman Polanski if he even wants to come back home.
If he does - then we need to tell him that we are going to Stand Up Beside Him - and clear him of the Rape Charges - and he can be given Credit For Time Served.

Now here's my Argument - and that is I believe that President Obama should Pardon Roman Polanski NOW.
As President - he can do that - can't he - -FJ?
Not when he leaves office - whether it be next January or in FOUR MORE YEARS - but now.
This Wonderful Director has contributed more to Our Society than any Harm he has done to it.
But here is the bottom line - for me.
THE MOTHER OF THAT GIRL WHO HE RAPED - MIGHT AS WELL HAVE PINNED A NOTE TO HER SWEATER THAT DAY READING - HERE IS MY MOST PRECIOIUS POSESSION - MR. HOLLYWOOD DIRECTOR - DO WANT YA WANT WITH HER (wink wink) I TRUST YOU
The GirL's Mother Is Guilty of A Crime Too - of not carrying out her Responsitbility As A Parent.
That is a Very Important Responsibility - -FJ - one that many parents do not take seriously.
At any rate - I Believe that Roman Polanski HAS SERVED HIS TIME - IN EXILE.
We need to Straighten This Out NOW - before It Is Too Late.

It is certainly the President's prerogative to pardon anybody he feels warrants pardoning. Were I President, Roman Polanski would be at the bottom of my "pardoning" consideration list.
I frankly don't care whether anyone likes his films or not. He's not an American, even though he married one... and she's long dead. Maybe the president should pardon Charlie Manson for killing his wife (Sharon Tate), think?
Besides, I'm sure that Roman and Dominque-Strauss Kahn have wonderful orgies together... so why spoil THAT now?

2. Then I would like to extend him the Courtesy of Becoming an American Citizen
You see - -FJ - not only do I like Movies - which are an Integral Part of My Life - but I Believe in Roman Polanski.
Not the Roman Polanski that did Stupid Stuff like Repulsion (I hated that movie) or Rosemary's Baby (Scared Me) but the new improved Roman Polanski - who I Believe has himself a Nice Wife - and a couple of Children.
And well - -FJ - everybody deserves a Second Chance - and after all - Roman Polanski is a Person too.
I hope ya aren't mad at me -FJ - cause I don't have many Friends - I can't imagine why - and I'm going through a Really hard time right now.
