its at those times you know you wrote a piece that deserves more than just ad hominems and demeaning thoughts, sue. and very few want to give a good argument.
that requires thinking deeply. and people have forgotten how or never learned how to.
Thersites - Not to argue - because I value your comments - but it's not exactly pouting.
You might say that I'm an older drama queen. I do very well with criticism and yet if I get tired and discouraged or if someone 'trip's me up' as I'm wont to say - then I snap.
But don't be fooled by that. What I say in the snapping process is what I really feel as I momentarily bring myself down.
And then get back up hopefuly sooner that later.
Thanks Thersites.
When I look at your picture I feel I am being mentored by a wise sage.
Sure. I put a link to your blog from my blog. So if you are at my Absolute Marxist blog and look to the sidebar, you'll see a link to this post of yours and can come here if you click it. Or you can just come to your blog and see ALL your posts. Using links is how I usually navigate the internet. I don't usually use "bookmarks".
You have a section for links on your sidebar... for Google News and two links that say "Edit-Me". You can put whatever "links" you like there... but it's usually a courtesy to ask those whom you link to if it's alright... because in a "blog war"... you not only take down your enemies blog, you take down their friends (links). And I'm a right wing troll who likes to fight in blog wars. If people dislike me, they can find you through my links. If people like me, then they can also find you through my links. It's kind of a two-edged sword.
If at any time you want me to remove my link, just tell me. If I go to war, I'll probably delete the link so that no one can find you, through me. See?
...and before the 2012 election is over, there will be MANY skirmishes with Left wing trolls just like me. For that's who I learned these tactics from.
Links are like a trail of breadcrumbs that lead from your house, to all your friends houses. Of course most of MY friends houses are actually.... ME. :)
A bookmark in a catalogue of links that only you can see that is stored directly in your personal web browser on your pc. Links are stored on the web pages themselves and anyone can see them. Of course, many people run Sitemeters, and they can see whether people are visiting them from other links, from Search Engines, or directly out of a bookmark. Sitemeters, like cookies, are a way of getting information about other people who visit your web page... who they are, and where they came from, and where they went after they left your web page.
Anybody can be a troll. You just have to blog at someone else's website more than you do at your own blog. In fact, you can tell most trolls from their profiles. They usually block public access to their profiles so that people like me can't track them back to their own blogs. They pretend to be "homeless gypsies". But there are many ways for people to track trolls, as they live digital fingerprints everywhere they go. And all you have to know how to do is to read these fingerprints. ;)
Sure. Do you see the words "Edit Me" on your sidebar? If you click on them, they'll tell you how to add links.
And I doubt I could teach you any more than you already know about blogging. But if someone starts to bully you around and troll your blog, let me know and I will help you get rid of them.
It won't get war-like until right before the election. THAT is when the obnoxious trolls will start showing up in greater numbers and working in teams to shut down any meaningful discussion of politics.

thanks for the visit to my blog too.
You pout too much, girlie girl! ;)
Griper - You've come along just when I needed your encouraging - and saving - comment.
Thanks for that - and you are welcome.

Don't let the photo fool you. I am nowhere near 'wisdom'.
...and I'm the KING of drama. ;)
btw - I linked to you. Hope you don't mind.
...it makes it easier than always looking for your profile link.
AM - Not only do I not mind - but I have no idea(computer ignorance)
what you are talking about when you say you linked to me.
Please - explain it to me as if I were a fourth grader. :-)

Now you perhaps see why I have many blogs and many "avatars". I'm not a nice person when I'm in a blog war.

I guess it the topic of your posts that get the attention of the comment's.
The more controversial, the more comments.
Mizz - If that is true than why did my most controversial post get only one comment - the other was was my repsonse.
AM - You're a troll?
I've known trolls and I didn't like them.
I like you.
Therefore how can you be a troll.
Abso - 'I'm not a nice person when I'm in a blog war'
If you are a nice person you remain a nice person - even in a blog war.
But if you are in a blog war then you will not ACT like the nice person that you really are.
But you are ALWAYS a nice person if that's what you REALLY are.
Absolute - I get it about the link to my blog - although I don't know how to put your link on my blog.
What is a bookmark.
-FJ - A trail of breadcrumbs can easily be eaten by birds.

That's why it's not a very reliable trail marker.

AM - Too complicated for me.
I'm going to skip the bookmarks and think about the link thing.

AM - This blogging stuff is all very interesting - and exciting.
Maybe you could teach me the ropes - like apprentice.
Abso - You still haven't told me in simple words how to link your blog on mine.
Sure. Do you see the words "Edit Me" on your sidebar? If you click on them, they'll tell you how to add links.

Thanks Abso - I hope to have my links up by the end of the day.
AM - Then that will give me some to get ready for them.
