Getting back to El Greco - one of my many faves - when it come to the ARTS - his paintings sometime have an interesting technique - which consists of - what you see is what you get and then some.
You see the main theme - but in a smaller picture or even two - the artist shows what has or will happened.
Pretty incoherent description - don't ya think.
I'll check googles images of this and get back to ya.
Under images at google - see the Really Cool thing that the google artists did to commemorate the inventer of the zipper today - I realise you use bing - though -
but a good example is the painting of Christ receiving the 'cup' from the angel - and smaller scenes in the background of the soldiers coming to arrets him and the d*psh*t weak disciples asleep when they should be giving him support.
Christ is wearing a dark red gown so you can recognize the paiting easily.
