We pay tribute to all of our service members on today - Armed Forces Day.~~~~Thank you for all you do for us and
for your brave actions for our country.
Cube - I am amazed at how willingly they serve - and the sad part is that they don't get the credit they deserve when they come home. The pay and the medical care just aren't enough.
I'm glad to hear that you don't like welfare. As a heartless republican, I don't like it either, but I do see it as a way to give those in need a temporary helping hand. Key word being temporary... until you can get back on your feet.
Unfortunately, the system has become corrupted by lazy people who would rather watch pay-per-view and not work.
Cube - I think you summed it up pretty well. There are those who would rather take advantage of the system and not use it for what it is supposed to be. Which is for temporary help until they can find work.

I couldn't agree more. I thank God for those brave men and women who stand on the wall in watch for us.

Seriously, I am all for giving them all the help they need. To make room for them, the inner city thugs can get off welfare and get a job.
